Mick Jagger is to become a father for the eighth time following his courtship with 29-year-old ballerina Melanie Hamrick. Dating since 2014 they have both expressed their surprise at the news. Virginia born Melanie has practised the art of Ballet since the age of 3, and went on to attend the American Ballet Theatre aged 17 getting her first dance contract aged 18. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine at the time, she admitted that she had led a sheltered life in a boarding school. Mick’s 7 other children range from 17 years old to 45 years old. Melanie says she knows Mick is a great dad and that he has been supportive since hearing about the pregnancy.
