‘Old School’ supermodel Linda Evangelista ’s words of Wisdom.
Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have won the hearts of many former supermodels including ‘Chameleon’ Linda Evangelista who is the latest to heap praise on the youngsters. In fact, the original clothes horse, one of the original six who did not get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day told ‘People Stylewatch’ that Kendall and Gigi are so fabulous, they could give her advice. Linda went on to say that the girls have the world in their hands, with an awareness and much self control.
Not everyone agrees with Linda though, her friend Stephanie Seymour told Vanity Fair that current super models should have their own name, rather than ‘supermodel’ which she said is a thing of the past. Stephanie suggested they should be labelled ‘Bitches of the moment’ as a title. Kendal and Gigi have spoken out about the suggested title and said, quite rightly that they did not like the label. On her website Kendall wrote, ‘If you choose to be a cyberbully, I’m going to stick up for myself.’
Former American Top Model presenter Tyra Banks stated that she was happy that there are supermodels again and perhaps Ms Seymour meant it as a joke. Sometimes though, the joke is misplaced and inappropriate. Linda Evangelista has grown older gracefully and understands that the original six have had their ($10,000 a) day.

The Magician has an entrepreneurial quality. 51 year old Linda has continued to work as a model through the eighties and nineties and she continues to achieve success today.
As she has grown in years and maturity, Linda now appeals to a different audience and has happily removed the supermodel crown to make way for young ladies such as Kendall Jenner. She will continue to grow older gracefully with her dignity intact.
